An Experiment of a Webmaster

Ok, while this isn’t a business, I think its an ok predictor of how popular a web site can be when it has ok content and very little promotion. The site has gotten a little bit of traffic recently from google and other search engines. It seems my story on the comcast blacklist was a little popular. The site has begun to get a little bit of traffic from the search engines and google adsense is picking it up. As far as being indexed in google, I only see 2 pages at a time indexed. It looks like google may actually be removing sublinks from the index if they aren’t linked to. That is definately odd to me. Maybe the site just isn’t important enough in Googles eyes to keep around.

I think I’m going to look into blog exchanges and the like. I’m just trying to build traffic at this point, not monetize it. I’m also still planning on writing articles, but quite a few of my other projects are consuming my time at this point. Stay tuned
